Exam points from a failed exam cannot typically be transferred to a passed exam. In most cases, the student would need to retake the failed exam and earn a passing grade in order to receive credit for the course. However, some educational institutions may offer options such as grade replacement or grade forgiveness, where the new passing grade can replace the failed grade in the student's overall GPA calculation. It's important for students to check with their academic advisors or the institution's policies to understand their options in such situations. **
